Maison D’Hibou is set in two acres of meadow gardens and an orchard among the vineyards of the Petite Champagne region of the Charente. Our beautiful gite is now home to our sewing retreat - Learn to sew or improve your skills and meet other ladies who share the same interest next year in June and July 2025
Let me explain
We own a large very old farmhouse (Chez Dauve) near Barbezieux which is a half hours drive from Cognac.
We converted our barn into a gite (Maison D’hibou) and this is where we host our sewing holidays or as I like to call them RETREATS
Now 3 sewing retreats
This years two sewing weeks were a great success with many guests planning on coming back next year and we’ve just added a third week to cope with demand
